Care

Vertical blinds are easy to clean using a feather duster or a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery brush attachment. They can also be wiped down using either a clean, dry cloth or a clean, damp, white cloth to prevent colour run.

Some vertical blinds are machine washable at 40ºC, but you should always contact us first to find out, so we can provide specific washing instructions.

All our vertical blinds are bespoke and designed to suit your specific needs. Excell Blinds and Shutters have a huge selection of fabrics available to suit any space or budget. Our standard stock range is the most affordable option, and they can be fitted incredibly quickly after the initial quotation, sometimes even as quickly as the next day.

We also offer a more luxurious range which includes a wide variety of colours and patterns from a selection of different suppliers. You are sure to find the perfect fabric to suit your room and design taste from our varied selection.

We have several types of fabric available for our vertical blinds that allow different amounts of light to pass through them. Fabric options include:

• Standard fabric – allows for natural light to filter into your room
• Dim out fabric – blocks out most of the light whilst still allowing for some natural light to filter through, but reduces glare from the sun
• Blackout fabric – prevents any light from passing through
• Solar Protective Coated (SPC) – reduces glare and helps keep the room cool by preventing solar heat gain.

Slats are available in 89mm or 127mm widths.

All our blinds are child safe as standard; this means they are designed to be 100% safe for use around children and no additional measures will be required. They are operated by a wand control, so there are no dangerous cords hanging down which children could get caught in.
