Style & Use
Vertical blinds are commonly used in corporate rooms with large windows, but they work just as well in homes, which many of our clients choose to install.
Custom made to fit your window they are easy to operate and ideal for floor to ceiling and larger windows.
Modern homeowners find vertical blinds to be an elegant choice for all rooms of the house. One of the main attractions is the ability to control how light or dark a room is by tilting the blinds appropriately. Allowing full control of sunlight, vertical blinds can fully brighten a room when the sun is out or keep the home feeling cosy in the winter by drawing them shut.
This design allows the strips to turn different degrees to control the brightness of sunlight, to let in as much or as little light as you require, as well as protecting privacy. These feature make them ideal for rooms with large windows, glass walls, sliding glass doors, and bedrooms.
Design & Function
Vertical blinds are comprised of vertical strips or vanes attached to a chain mechanism and cord pulley. The vertical strips can be tilted to let light in or keep it out by pulling the chains, while the cord is used to drawn to have the blinds back across the window to both sides like curtains, or to one side. The cords can be set to bunch either the right or left handside of the window.
Weights at the bottom of each strip help keep the blinds in place and keep the fabric in shape.
The vanes are available in a wide range of widths of 89mm and 127mm.
Vertical blinds are available in a large range of colours, patterns and fabrics. Call into our shop to see our catalogue or we can arrange for a free no obligation consultation at your home. Free samples of fabrics are available, sent out via post. For more information contact us
